Celebrity Nutritionist Robert Ferguson Joins Modere Scientific Advisory Board

The board is comprised of highly respected physicians and industry experts whose specialties span the fields of medical, orthopedic, cosmetic and veterinary medicine, holistic health and the nutritional sciences.

Robert Ferguson, MS, CN is nationally recognized as a certified nutritionist, fitness expert, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, author and the CEO of Diet Free Life. He has written three books on nutrition and fitness and authored two evidence-based studies on reversing childhood obesity. He currently serves on the Presidential Task Force on Obesity for the National Medical Association, consults for Let’s Move Nation, serves as the National Wellness Director for SOBA Recovery Centers, and co-founded the Show Me Better Health initiative with Aetna, an evidence-based wellness practice that is implemented in under-resourced communities. Jon M. Grazer, MD, MPH, FACS, a Newport Beach, California board-certified plastic surgeon and assistant clinical professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He specializes in facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, aesthetic body contouring, reconstructive surgery and is an expert in skin health.

Lisa Derosimo, MD, MS is board-certified in obesity medicine. Her research in the treatment of obesity has been published in several medical journals, and she is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

John A. Giannone, DVM holds a doctorate in veterinary medicine, is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the California Veterinary Medical Association.

Kelly O’Malley Mattone, MD is a Mount Sinai trained cosmetic physician from New York City. She specializes in non-surgical face lifts, body sculpting and medical hair restoration. She has been practicing for nearly 30 years and holds a board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Greg Horn, BA, MBA is the former CEO of both General Nutrition Centers (GNC), the world’s largest specialty retailer of nutrition products, and Garden of Life and is the bestselling author of Living Green and Living Well.

Ferguson will be making his first appearance as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board on October 20 at Modere’s fall regional in Dallas, Texas.
